Crazy Eights
Match the suit, play an 8, empty your hand
Crazy Eights is the classic shedding card game: match the top card by suit or number, play an 8 whenever you are stuck, and be the first with no cards left. On Masa you play it at a 3D table with friends — American rules, while the British Switch, the German Mau-Mau and the other local versions have pages and tables of their own.

Play Crazy Eights online with friends
A game takes ten to twenty minutes. Invite friends to a table, cheer on voice chat when an 8 lands at just the right moment, and name the one suit the next player hasn’t got. Bots keep the seats warm until your friends arrive.
How to play
- 1
Everyone gets 5 cards (7 with two players). The next card of the deck starts the pile.
- 2
On your turn, play one card that matches the top card’s suit or number.
- 3
8s are wild: play one at any time and name the suit the next player must follow.
- 4
Can’t play? Draw until a card fits. You can also draw instead of playing.
Other versions of Crazy Eights
Same table, other rules: each version is a game of its own at Masa, with its own tables, rules and stats.
Frequently asked questions
Can I play an 8 on an 8?
Yes. An 8 can go on any card, another 8 included — just name the new suit.
What happens when the deck runs out?
The pile is shuffled into a new deck and play goes on. If nobody can play or draw, the lowest hand scores the difference.
How is it different from Dirty Seven?
Dirty Seven (Pis Yedili) is the Turkish cousin: 7s make the next player draw 3, aces hit everyone, and the lowest score wins. Crazy Eights keeps it simple with wild 8s.
