Makao
Fours stop, kings pick up five
Makao is Poland’s favourite shedding game, played with 52 cards and two jokers: 2s and 3s make the next player draw, the king of hearts hits the next player for five and the king of spades the previous one, 4s stop a turn and a jack asks everyone for a card. Down to one? Call “Makao!”.
