Coinche SA/TA
Coinche with No Trump and All Trump contracts
Coinche SA/TA adds two contracts to the coinche auction: sans atout, where no suit is trump and the ace and ten rule every suit, and tout atout, where every suit plays like trump with the jack and nine on top. Both still make 162 points, announcements count as usual, and coinche and surcoinche raise the stakes as ever.

Play Coinche SA/TA online with friends
At Masa, Coinche SA/TA is a game of its own right next to Belote: pick it in the games list, open a table and share its code or link with your friends, or sit at a house table. Bots fill the empty chairs, and voice chat keeps the table talking.
How to play
- 1
4 players in 2 teams — partners sit across from each other. The first team to 2000 points wins; the winning partners share the prize pool.
- 2
32 cards, 7 to ace. In trump, the jack and the nine are the strongest cards.
- 3
Everyone gets 8 cards. Bid the points your team will make (80 to 160, or Capot for every trick) and name trump. Think they can't make it? Coinche doubles the bid — the bidders can surcoinche to make it ×4.
- 4
You may also bid No trumps or All trumps. No trumps: A 10 K Q J 9 8 7 in every suit (A 19, 10 10, K 4, Q 3, J 2); follow suit, no need to go higher; no belote. All trumps: J 9 A 10 K Q 8 7 in every suit (J 14, 9 9, A 6, 10 5, K 3, Q 1); follow suit and beat the highest card of it if you can; a belote in any suit. Both still make 162.
- 5
Follow the suit led. If you can't, you must trump — unless your partner is winning the trick. When trump is led, or an opponent has trumped, play a higher trump if you can.
- 6
Declarations count on the first trick: three in a row 20, four 50, five or more 100; four jacks 200, four nines 150, four aces, tens, kings or queens 100. Only the team with the best one scores. Masa announces them for you.
