Xeri
Take a lone card for a xeri
Xeri is the Greek and Cypriot cousin of Pishti: six cards each, four cards face up on the table, and you take the pile with a matching card or a jack. Take a lone card with its match and that is a xeri — 10 points, or 20 when a jack takes a jack — and picture cards and tens score too.

Play Xeri online with friends
At Masa, Xeri is a game of its own right next to Pishti: pick it in the games list, open a table and share its code or link with your friends, or sit at a house table. Bots fill the empty chairs, and voice chat keeps the table talking.
How to play
- 1
Everyone gets 6 cards at a time. Four cards start face up on the table — laid again if the top one is a Jack or the top two match.
- 2
Play a card of the same rank as the top card to take the whole pile.
- 3
A Jack takes any pile. Save it for a big one!
- 4
Take a lone card with its match: Xeri! +10 points. A Jack on a lone Jack: +20 — the last card of a hand too.
- 5
2 vs 2: partners sit opposite each other and score together.
Frequently asked questions
Is Xeri the same game as Pishti?
No. Xeri is played at the same kind of table as Pishti, but with rules of its own — see “How to play” above. At Masa it is a game of its own, with its own tables, stats and achievements.
Can I play Xeri online with friends?
Yes. Open a Xeri table and share its code or link. Empty seats fill with other players or bots, so a game always starts.
Is Xeri free to play?
Yes. You play with Chips, which have no cash value: nothing can be won or cashed out.
