Trix Complex
All four penalties in one deal, then Trix: eight deals
Trix Complex is the faster way many Trix tables play: each kingdom has just two deals. The Complex puts all four penalties into one deal — every trick, every diamond, every queen and the King of Hearts count against you at once — and then comes Trix, the lay-out from the jacks where the first player out scores 200. Holders may reveal the K♥ and the queens to double them. Eight deals in all; the highest total wins.

Play Trix Complex online with friends
At Masa, Trix Complex is a game of its own right next to King: pick it in the games list, open a table and share its code or link with your friends, or sit at a house table. Bots fill the empty chairs, and voice chat keeps the table talking.
How to play
- 1
Four kingdoms of two deals: the Complex (all four penalties in one deal) and Trix.
- 2
Complex · All four at once: tricks, diamonds, queens and the K♥
- 3
Trix · Lay out from the jacks — first out +200, then 150, 100, 50
- 4
Follow suit; without it, any card. No trumps.
- 5
King of Hearts and Complex: hearts are not led until they are broken (unless you hold nothing else).
- 6
Before King of Hearts, Queens or Complex, every holder may reveal the K♥ / queens: a revealed card taken by another costs double and scores its value to the one who revealed it.
House rules
Pick any of these when you create a table; a table that changes none plays the rules above.
- Partners — The seats across add up; the higher team wins
- Weak hand — Four 2s, or three 2s and a 3, are shown and dealt again
