Parchís is the board game of every Spanish home: four pawns, a 68-square track run counter-clockwise and a corridor up to the centre. You need a 5 to bring a pawn out, two pawns of one colour make a barrier nobody passes, and every capture sends a rival home and lets you count 20.

Play Parchís online with friends

How to play
- 1
Race your four pawns counter-clockwise once around the 68 squares and up your corridor to the center.
- 2
Roll a 5 to bring a pawn out — you must when you can. Every 6 gives another roll, and with no pawn left in your yard a 6 counts as 7.
- 3
Nobody can be captured on the 12 safe squares (the start squares are among them).
- 4
Land on a single rival pawn to send it back to its yard, then count 20 with any of your pawns. Bring a pawn home and count 10.
- 5
Two pawns of one color make a barrier nobody can pass. Roll a 6 and you must open yours.
- 6
A square holds two pawns at most. Bringing a pawn out onto a full start square captures the rival there.
- 7
Three 6s in a row send your last moved pawn back to the yard — unless it's already in your corridor.
Frequently asked questions
Is Parchís the same game as Ludo?
No. Parchís is played at the same kind of table as Ludo, but with rules of its own — see “How to play” above. At Masa it is a game of its own, with its own tables, stats and achievements.
Can I play Parchís online with friends?
Yes. Open a Parchís table and share its code or link. Empty seats fill with other players or bots, so a game always starts.
Is Parchís free to play?
Yes. You play with Chips, which have no cash value: nothing can be won or cashed out.
