Partner Batak
Two teams of partners, one contract
Partner Batak — Eşli Batak in Turkish — is batak for two teams. Partners sit opposite each other and bid together for the right to name trumps, starting at 8 tricks. Each partner plays their own hand, but the team’s tricks make the contract: make it and the team scores its tricks, fall short and it loses the bid. Bring a friend as your partner and take on another pair.

Play Partner Batak online with friends

How to play

4 players in two teams of partners sitting opposite each other, 13 cards each, 4 hands. The team with the higher total after the last hand wins; both partners share the pot (minus the 5% table fee).

Bidding starts with the player after the dealer: bid how many tricks your TEAM will take (8–13) or pass. Every bid must be higher; a pass is final. If all three others pass, the dealer must bid 8.

The highest bidder chooses trump and leads the first trick. Each partner plays their own hand; the winner of each trick leads the next.

Follow the suit that was led, and if you can, beat the highest card on the trick.

No card of that suit? You must play a trump — higher than a trump already on the trick if you can. With no trump either, play any card.

Trump can’t be led until a trump has been played on a trick (“trump broken”), unless you hold only trumps.

Is Partner Batak the same game as Batak?
No. Partner Batak is played at the same kind of table as Batak, but with rules of its own — see “How to play” above. At Masa it is a game of its own, with its own tables, stats and achievements.
Can I play Partner Batak online with friends?
Yes. Open a Partner Batak table and share its code or link. Empty seats fill with other players or bots, so a game always starts.
Is Partner Batak free to play?
Yes. You play with Chips, which have no cash value: nothing can be won or cashed out.
