Bridge

The ultimate partnership card game

Bridge is the partnership game that card players spend a lifetime mastering. Two pairs bid to name a contract, then the declarer plays both their own hand and the partner’s open hand (the dummy) to make it.

Play Bridge online with friends

Bridge needs a partner, and Masa always has one for you: sit opposite a friend you invite, or play with a bot partner that bids a simple standard system. Tap any bid to see what it means, which makes Masa a friendly place to teach bridge to your friends.

How to play

  1. 1

Four players in two partnerships (North–South and East–West) get 13 cards each.

  2. 2

The auction: bid a number of tricks above six and a trump suit or no trump. The highest bid becomes the contract.

  3. 3

The player left of the declarer leads, and the declarer’s partner lays their hand face up as the dummy.

  4. 4

Follow suit if you can. The highest trump wins the trick, otherwise the highest card of the led suit.

  5. 5

The declaring side needs six tricks plus the contract level to make it.
