Fives and Threes
Score the ends in fives and threes, exactly 61 wins
Fives and Threes is the dominoes game of British pubs and leagues. After every tile you add up the two open ends: multiples of 5 and of 3 score at once — 15 is worth 8 — and going out adds a point. There is no drawing, four play two against two, and you must hit exactly 61: a score that would pass it does not count.

Play Fives and Threes online with friends
At Masa, Fives and Threes is a game of its own right next to Dominoes: pick it in the games list, open a table and share its code or link with your friends, or sit at a house table. Bots fill the empty chairs, and voice chat keeps the table talking.
How to play
- 1
Score points on the open ends as you play.
- 2
Play one tile that matches an open end of the line. Doubles go crosswise.
- 3
A player drawn by lot leads the first hand with any tile; after that the lead moves on.
- 4
5 tiles each; the rest stay out of play — no drawing.
- 5
Can't play? You pass.
- 6
After each tile, add up the two open ends. A double at an end counts both halves.
- 7
2 vs 2: partners share one score. A player who is out sits out; the pair chips out when both are out.
House rules
Pick any of these when you create a table; a table that changes none plays the rules above.
- Draw from the boneyard — Draw until a tile fits
- No point for going out — Going out scores nothing extra
- Bounce back — Points past the target come off again
- Championship deal — 9 tiles heads-up, 6 at four
