Remi pe tablă is the tile rummy Romania plays on Sunday afternoons: the 106 tiles of 101 Okey, two printed jokers instead of an indicator, and a row of discards anyone can dig into. Every tile you put on the table scores, every tile left on your rack costs — the highest total wins.

Play Remi pe tablă online with friends

How to play
- 1
4 players. The first player gets 15 tiles and starts by discarding one; everyone else gets 14. There is no indicator and no okey: the two jokers stand for any tile.

Melds are runs of one colour (1-2-3 up to 12-13-1 — never 13-1-2) and sets of 3 or 4 colours. A meld needs at least two real tiles for every joker.

Open with runs and sets worth 45 points (50 at some tables), including at least one run. From the turn after your opening you also add to anyone’s melds and swap jokers.

Discards form one row. Once you have opened, take the last discard instead of drawing — or any tile of the row that you meld at once with two of your tiles, taking every tile discarded after it too. The very first discard stays on the table.

Hold the tile a joker stands for? Swap it in and meld the joker straight away with two of your tiles. Go out by melding every tile but one and discarding the last.
