Fevga
Same way round, no hitting, run past their start first
Fevga is the third game of Greek Tavli and a race of its own. Both players start in opposite corners and run the same way round; a single checker holds its point, so blocks win games. Your first checker must pass the opponent’s starting point before any other may move, and nobody may wall in every opposing checker.

Play Fevga online with friends
At Masa, Fevga is a game of its own right next to Tavla: pick it in the games list, open a table and share its code or link with your friends, or sit at a house table. Bots fill the empty chairs, and voice chat keeps the table talking.
How to play
- 1
All 15 checkers start on one point. Race them round, bring them home and bear them off first. The match goes to 3 points.
- 2
Opening roll: each player rolls one die; the higher one rolls both dice and starts. Each game’s winner opens the next one.
- 3
Both players move the same way round the board, starting from opposite corners.
- 4
No hitting: a single checker holds its point. You may neither land on it nor touch down on it in a combined move.
- 5
Your first checker must pass your opponent’s starting point before any other checker may move.
- 6
You may not hold all six points of your starting quarter or of your opponent’s, and never block every one of your opponent’s checkers.
